The Faceless Ones - Derek Landy Derek Landy has officially pulled off a rare feat: he has written three amazing books in a row. Usually, whether it's books, movies, video games or whatever, the third piece either crashes or falls just a bit short of expectations.

This one didn't.

This book is every bit as amazing as the first two in the Skulduggery Pleasant series. I burned through it in a day--a busy day--because I just could not take my eyes from the words on the screen of my Nook. Honestly, I don't know what I like best about these books--the premise, the characters, the way they have me grinning like a maniac every three pages, or the writing style, which never fails to make me . . . I admit it . . . somewhat jealous. I enjoy every bit of each one.

A warning to you, though, if you haven't read this book yet: you'd better have the next one handy, because if you're anything like me, you'll finish this one and you'll have to have the sequel for the sake of your sanity. The ending is just one of those.
