I think this is the most beautiful book I've ever read. I absolutely adored it, especially as an introduction to an author I'd never heard of before. It was glued to my fingertips until two o'clock in the morning.
Aidan MacAllister is perfect in every way, including his flaws. His story is touching, amusing, and heartbreaking. I loved Lara and Narim all the way through, no matter what they did. And I loved Davyn and Roelan and Keldar . . . and, well, actually, everyone.
I adore this book, all right? I'd rant and rave forever about how much I adore it, but I can't really - I love it so much I can't really say how much I love it, if that makes sense. It's my favorite book in the world. I've read and reread it so many times I've lost count.
I think this is about as perfect as any book can be.
