The Door Within (The Door Within Trilogy #1) - Wayne Thomas Batson I like this book a lot, but not as much as when I first read it. I was younger then, and awed by anything fantastical. Now I'm able to see the flaws: the writing was thin, and it was a bit slow starting up, and some of the characters needed help.

Still, this book is definitely good. It's charming. And the other two books in the series are amazing, so it's worth it to read this one.

Ahh . . . but I do hate it when the author's series, book, and a chapter in the book all have the same name. It gets confusing.
