The Oneprince: Book One: The Radaemian Chronicles - Bill Hand I didn't exactly hate this book--I just couldn't work up any enthusiasm for it. It read like a babyish, overweight Narnia book crossed with all of the worst fantasy cliches out there, and not just because of the talking animals. It seemed like the author was trying too hard to be funny, to be sweet, to shove his morals down the reader's throat. It just came across as juvenile and slightly annoying.

It wasn't a terrible book. It wasn't offensive or anything. It was just boring and more than slightly stupid. If you're a kid just being introduced to fantasy, yeah, you'd probably like it, but I'm afraid I didn't care for it.
