Karneval, Vol 3

Every volume gets more amazing. I can't believe these characters just keep getting better and better, but they do.
And yay, Tsukumo was in this one!
Mikanagi's art is so beautiful. She drew a mermaid costume in this volume that had so many details on it I know I didn't even see them all. The scenery, with the snow and the trees and the cityscapes, is all just so pretty.
....And, I've decided that one of the reasons I love this manga so much is its treatment of kids. It loves kids. Every time a kid - or a group of them - appears, they're so sweet and charming and innocent that I'm just instantly in love. (Nai is a good example. He's such a dear.) Yogi, Nai, Gareki, Akari, Tsukumo and pretty much everyone else, all love kids. It's amazing and sweet.
Oh, and I've come to the conclusion that I'm doomed to fall for guys with glasses, at least in this manga. Because Hirato is my favorite, and Jiki is so adorable and funny that he makes me bubble hearts, too - even though he's a jerk and a hypocrite. Although I love characters without glassed, too....I love Gareki and Nai and Tsukumo to pieces. I can't decide who is best, they're all so awesome.
I need to read more, but first I've got say that I seriously recommend this manga. It's so beautiful it hurts. It has flaws, yeah, but it's so amazing that they don't make much of a difference.
